Annual Manyu Heritage Festival
Our flagship annual event celebrating Manyu culture with traditional music, dance, food, attire, storytelling, and cultural exhibitions. This multi-day festival draws Manyu diaspora from across the USA and is open to the wider Georgia community.
Scholarship Program
MECAGA awards annual scholarships to deserving Manyu students pursuing higher education in the USA. Applications are accepted each spring with awards based on academic merit, financial need, and community involvement.
Kenyang Language Classes
Weekly language preservation classes teaching Kenyang — the language of the Manyu people — to second and third generation members. Classes are offered online and in-person in Atlanta.
Youth Programs
Structured programs engaging Manyu youth ages 5-18 through cultural education, storytelling, traditional music workshops, and mentorship by community leaders.
Community Support Services
MECAGA provides settlement assistance, referrals, and a welcoming network for newly arrived Manyu immigrants and community members in need.
Professional Network
Monthly networking events connecting Manyu professionals across industries for mentorship, business collaboration, and career opportunities.
Cultural Cuisine Events
Quarterly cooking and food events celebrating Manyu cuisine — from Eru to Kondre — bringing community together around shared food traditions.
Advocacy & Civic Engagement
Supporting Cameroonian community advocacy, civic participation, and awareness of issues affecting the Manyu homeland and the broader Cameroon diaspora.
